| Winamp Skin
Specs |
| Winamp
skin specs are made to help skinners
understand how Winamp uses each part of
the skin bitmaps as a graphical user
interface. There are three variations of
these specs: picture and info HTML files,
text info INF files, and the overlays. |
| >> HTML |
|
|
|
| The HTML
version is for beginners who need
to know what each button does and
which part of the skin bitmap is
used for that button. It is the
most comprehensive set of specs
made for Winamp. |
|
| |
|
|
| >> INF |
|
|
|
| The INF
version is for more experienced
skinners who know what each
button does but not exactly where
they are placed. The INF version
is simply a set of data showing
the coordinates of the bitmaps
used for each component. |
|
| |
|
|
| >> Overlay |
|
|
|
| The overlay
is for experienced skinners who
just need a quick guide to button
placement. These overlays should
be set to be semi-transparent
layers in Adobe Photoshop so that
there is a visible blueprint of
the skin. |
